This is a prior information notice to seek engagement with the market place on behalf of Health and Social Care for Northern Ireland to obtain a view of the market’s ability to assist with Automated Microbiology Laboratory Systems.     This is a Prior Information Notice seeking market engagement to determine the market's capabilities to assist with Automated Microbiology Laboratory Systems. To that end, BSO Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) wishes to engage with prospective suppliers on behalf of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland to establish market readiness through the eTendersNI secure messaging area of this Call for Tender (CfT) (Ref: 4998510). All correspondence relating to this pre-market engagement exercise should be sent through the secure messaging area of eTendersNI. Suppliers should refer to the document "Supplier Engagement Document for Automated Microbiology Laboratory Systems" under the CfT for more information on deadlines, site visits, and product awareness sessions. Suppliers may request a site visit at the Trusts listed in the supplier engagement document. Requests for site visits must be made no later than 15:00 Friday 22nd September 2023, using Appendix 1 of the supplier engagement document. Appendix 2 – Declaration of Interest for Product Awareness Session must be submitted no later than 15:00 on Friday 6th October. Suppliers will be required to return responses to the "Automated Microbiology Laboratory Systems Questionnaire" no later than 15:00 hours Friday 20th October 2023. Suppliers should also note that any interest shown does not constitute a commitment to participate in any future tendering exercise.
