    "description": "Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is intending to tender a contract for the delivery of the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) programme. The programme will be a joint delivery between GMP and Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) with Degree Awarding powers.\nThe contract will seek engagement from providers willing to integrate into our existing student officer training team, based on our GMP training estate.\nThe expectation would be that GMP will lead all operational learning and assessments in Years 1 & 2 and the successful provider deliver the academic learning and assessments of Years 2 and 3 of the PCDA.\nThe tender will seek engagement from HEI providers who would consider committing to support and develop our training estate and infrastructure and, who have a proven track record for delivering high quality teaching and learning to student Police officers.\nWhilst the contracting Authority is the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, this contract will be tendered and managed by the Greater Manchester Police.",
