Later stages of the processing of penalty charge notices and other areas such as the issuing of resident and staff parking permits will continue to be undertaken by an in house council Parking Services Team. The new parking enforcement service will cover the provision of parking enforcement including notice processing and cash collection. The scope of the contract will cover the full range of contraventions including bus lane enforcement, on-street stopping, waiting, loading, parking, permit parking and off street parking including pay and display and enforcement of barrier car parks.
