What this means for your bid

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) is procuring a Contract for the Design, Manufacture, and Installation of Signage for Urban Parks across the borough. This project supports the Council’s commitment to enhancing public spaces and improving wayfinding, interpretation, and branding across 24 urban parks.

This five-year programme will deliver high-quality, vandal-resistant signage that reflects the borough’s identity and engages local communities. The successful contractor(s) will be responsible for both graphic design panels and metal signage, with the opportunity to secure one or both contracts.

    The scope includes:

    • Map Panels (full-colour, graphic design)
    • Heritage and Biodiversity Lecterns
    • Site Badging and Entrance Signs
    • Waymarking and Public Warning Signs

    The signage must be:

    • Durable and vandal-resistant
    • Weatherproof and easy to maintain
    • Clear, engaging, and accessible
    • Consistent with a new urban parks branding palette and silhouette logo

The procurement includes a market engagement. The Council invites suitably qualified service providers to attend an in-person market engagement event where it will present the expectations of the provision and engage with current and potential suppliers.
