Published requirement descriptionEvidence reviews to be carried out on behalf of the National Quality Board Effective Staffing programme. The programme is tasked with rewriting the eight existing safe staffing resources and writing up to four new safe staffing resources. Each resource is supported by an evidence/literature review whereby all relevant academic papers, studies and evidence are reviewed and a report created to be published alongside the completed resources.

The scope includes both intensive and high dependency care delivered within discrete locations such as Intensive Care Units (ICU), High Dependency Units (HDU) or combined/co-located units. The guidance will focus on critical care service provision at Level 3, though Level 2 will be considered as appropriate.
