Coverage: 280 active published awards; 270 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Natural England (NE) wish to upgrade nine of their National Nature Reserve (NNR) bases across England to improve their operational capability and allow them to connect more people with nature.
Nine independent projects are currently in varying stages of concept design. There are currently 5 new build schemes, 1 refurbishment scheme, and 3 with an element of both. These are located across England. The majority of the new build elements are based on a modular design, though two are likely to be traditional blockwork.
The intention of this PIN is to identify suitable main contractors who are interested in tendering for individual projects, packages of projects or all of the projects.
Please email Stuart.Walters@Defra.gov.uk for the PIN/Questionnaire. Responses to the questionnaire have a deadline of the 14th October 2022.
