NAC/2177 Audits for Gas & Electrical Services, Repairs & Installations to Domestic Properties

North Ayrshire Council requires a suitably qualified service provider(s) for the provision of gas and electrical installation audits to domestic properties within the area of North Ayrshire including the islands of Arran and Cumbrae. A new contract is required to undertake gas and electrical audits for new installations, servicing and repairs carried out by our gas and electrical installers. This is to ensure electrical and gas installations carried out by NAC contractors have been undertaken to a satisfactory standard and are operating safely. It is envisaged that audits will be undertaken on 10% of all our contractors’ installations, servicing and repairs. The % of audits will vary dependent on the annual programme size for new installations, services and repairs. It is estimated there will be approximately 70 audits overall per month broken down as follows: Gas Audits – 50 per month Electrical Testing Audits – 15 per month Electrical Installations – 5 per month The scope of services is divided into 2 lots. Bidders may submit tenders for either one or both lots. It will be a requirement that bidders must have the appropriate certificates and qualifications (or equivalent), as detailed in section 1.1 of the invitation to tender for each lot they submit a bid for.
