The covers must be manufactured using materials and standards compatible with clinical usage and must be aesthetically pleasing. Similar to Lot 1, the outer covers will need to provide mounting points for additional sensors located inside the cowling structure. The outer cover will also have to accommodate cable trays located on both sides of the scanner to secure the various cooling pipes, electric power cables and other RF and signal cables that need to reach the scanner from the floor and ceiling.
