- Change Due to the short notice of the ICB pulling their current resource to provide the Medical Advisor and the responsibility falling to the LA we have no choice but to urgently increase a pre-existing contract in order to meet demand in a timely manner. Therefore, there will be an Increase in the contract value from £30k to £70k over the next 12 months to account for the increased workload and demand. Effective date of the modification is: 23.04.2026, Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: Due to the short notice of the ICB pulling their current resource to provide the Medical Advisor and the responsibility falling to the LA we have no choice but to urgently increase a pre-existing contract in order to meet demand in a timely manner. There is a significant risk that if we delay foster carers or connected carers that we increase the likelihood of a looked after young person becoming accommodated in an Unregulated arrangement due to a lack of sufficiency. These arrangements have no statutory regulation and are Unlawful.
