What is being bought

Published requirement description

The ICB is developing a single, integrated and digitally enabled CVD prevention and optimisation pathway across Norfolk and Suffolk, with an initial focus on hypertension and lipid management. The programme is intended to replace fragmented, reactive activity with a coordinated pathway that connects identification, assessment, clinical review, treatment initiation and optimisation, behaviour-change support, monitoring and follow-up.

The pathway will support delivery of the Cardiovascular Disease Modern Service Framework priorities for hypertension and cholesterol, while also supporting a broader shift towards proactive population health management, neighbourhood delivery, care closer to home and reduction of health inequalities.

The proposed service will bring together existing system assets and additional capacity. It is expected to support consistent standards across the ICB footprint while allowing delivery to be tailored to local population need, including Core20PLUS5 populations and deprived, rural, coastal and other underserved communities.

About this data
  • Source. Official UK public procurement notices (Find a Tender), reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. New notices arrive through the day; the figures are rebuilt nightly.
  • Two views, kept apart. The authority’s own track record and the wider market for the same kind of work sit side by side and are never mixed. Where the local picture is too thin, a figure widens to a broader market and says which one it used.
  • Forecasts are labelled. The price forecast and its range, possible competitors and the earlier-work matches are our estimates from past awards: not published facts, not win chances and not price advice. Official notices do not say who is bidding.
  • Every figure shows what it rests on. Not every notice publishes a bid count, a value or a delivery region, so each figure carries the number of records behind it, and one built on few records is marked as such. The on a figure explains it; the counting rules are in the methodology. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.

Publisher note: NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to support a second phase of market engagement in relation to the proposed commissioning of a system-wide Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Prevention and Optimisation Service. The ICB has progressed the programme since the first market engagement event in July 2026. A proposed delivery model, activity assumptions and service requirements have been developed. This second event will update the market, test the emerging approach before procurement documentation is finalised, and give potential providers time to form the partnerships needed to deliver an integrated pathway at scale. This in an invitation to a face to face market engagement event to be held on Friday 27th November commencing at 10.00 am in the Rose Mead Room, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2BX To book a place please email [email protected] and further information will be provided. For the avoidance of doubt, this information is NOT available on the Norfolk and Suffolk ICB website. This PIN is not a call for competition and does not formally commence a procurement process. Participation in the event will not confer any advantage in a future procurement, and non-participation will not preclude an organisation from taking part in any subsequent competition.
