What is being bought
To provide good quality evidence based support to people of all ages who have been affected by a death by suicide in Suffolk (excl. Waveney) and north east Essex.
Suffolk County Council would welcome the markets input and suggestions on how the services might be best delivered in Suffolk and invite all interested parties to a Virtual (Microsoft Teams) Market Engagement Stakeholder Event on 10th January 2024 between 09.30 - 11.00. To book your place on this event please email Amy.coomber@suffolk.gov.uk.

To offer a range of access routes incl. phone, text, video call and face to face Key areas of focus will be using innovation to: • meet the needs of underserved groups and those with complexity/vulnerability • targeted outreach to those who have been impacted by a death by suicide who may fall outside of the current reach of the existing service. This includes but is not exclusively, wider family connections, friends, colleagues, teachers, • realise opportunities to embed prevention. • contribute to developing a well-supported and skilled workforce. Contract Start Date: 1st June 2024. Contract period 3 years plus the option to extend for a further 2 years. This request does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services.
