Coverage: 37 active published awards; 37 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

The level 3 custody or detention diploma is fundamental to underpin the knowledge of prison officers to offer a standardised approach across all custodial and detention sectors in both England and Wales. The main objective is for this qualification to provide the knowledge and skills required to work in a custody or detention environment. Officers are frontline staff who have a duty to enforce and uphold legal decisions and follow processes and procedures with integrity, honesty and professionalism. This will align to the Custody and Detention Apprenticeship Standard in England and the apprenticeship framework in Wales.
