The existing contract runs until March 2027 and therefore this request does not seek an extension to the contract term. Instead, it seeks an uplift in contract value to fund the additional consultancy effort required to support the revised implementation approach, including business readiness activities, deployment support, go-live planning and hypercare.

- Change The proposed uplift is £67,500, equivalent to 50% of the original contract value. The modification is compliant with Regulation 72(1)(b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, as the additional services have become necessary during delivery of the original requirement and are intrinsically linked to the incumbent supplier's work. Replacing the supplier at this stage would result in the loss of project knowledge, duplication of effort, additional cost and increased delivery risk. — Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire: There is to be no change to the scope, term, deliverables or nature of the services being provided under the contract. The uplift will provide the additional contractual headroom needed to meet the additional requirements until the contract expires in June 2027.
