Payment obligations depend on the applicable regime and contract. Consult the official documents.
Coverage: 10 active published awards; 10 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleThe Trust believes that it has followed the PSR regulations relating to the Urgent award as it has been made urgently, the reason for the award was not foreseeable and delaying the award would pose a risk to patient safety. Due to the sudden unplanned loss of vital clinical personnel, it was not foreseeable that this impact would take place and there is a significant risk to patient safety should the Trust not urgently award in these circumstances. This is due to increasing waiting times - including those for suspected cancer patients. As per the urgent guidelines the contract has been awarded to a provider the Trust has worked with previously due to the need to mobilise at pace.
