What is being bought
HMRC recently conducted a procurement exercise for the provision of Private Medical Insurance services. The exercise concluded without receiving any bids. HMRC is therefore undertaking market engagement to better understand supplier requirements, market conditions and potential barriers to participation. Responses will be used solely to inform the future procurement strategy, specification development and commercial approach.     HMRC recently conducted a procurement exercise for the provision of Private Medical Insurance services. The exercise concluded without receiving any bids. HMRC is therefore undertaking market engagement to better understand supplier requirements, market conditions and potential barriers to participation. HMRC plans to issue a request for information questionnaire to all interested parties in order to capture market insights to inform the future procurement strategy for this requirement. Anticipated RFI release date is Monday 10 August 2026 with response deadline set as Friday 28 August 2026. These dates are indicative and subject to change. The RFI will be hosted on HMRC's SAP Ariba e-sourcing tool so, if you do not already have an account, it is important you register as soon as possible.
