Coverage: 53 active published awards; 53 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Council wishes to procure a framework for the hire of a range of non-operated small plant to support an in-house delivery model of highway maintenance. The service will be a top up service to supplement the Council’s own small plant in times of high workload, provide cover for breakdown and to supply infrequently used equipment. All plant must meet the appropriate requirements of the Specification set out in Schedule 2 and the rates submitted in the Pricing Schedule must be inclusive of delivery and travel time to the local depot or to site (unless otherwise indicated in the pricing schedule) and should include for all reasonable associated equipment such as trailers, dust suppressors, etc. The framework will be council wide and a maximum of 2 suppliers will be appointed. Orders will be issued based on the best value supplier for each order. A map of the Council area is included in the specification.
