Coverage: 151 active published awards; 148 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
A successful competitive bid for a Local Energy Advice Demonstrator (LEAD) project has provided GMCA with funding (total £1.9m) to test, trial and demonstrate the success of new approaches to delivering in-person energy saving advice, related to the installation of physical energy saving measures such as insulation. A core component of the awarded funding is to trial such engagement methods through multiple avenues, this includes places like community centers, GP surgeries, and DWP offices. Through this project, we are also looking to bring mainstream retrofit into the DIY market.
To do this B&Q will create drop-in centres in their two highest footfall stores in Greater Manchester. B&Q were a named partner in the LEAD project bid to undertake this activity.
This innovative development is something brand new and a service that is not offered at all elsewhere to deliver such a service within the timescales required for mobilizing this project.
