What is being bought

The aim of this project is to undertake a qualitative lived-experience needs assessment of gambling-related harms in Cambridgeshire, capturing the perspectives of individuals affected by gambling harms and key stakeholders. The findings will be used to better understand local needs, identify strengths and gaps within current provision, and provide evidence-based recommendations to inform strategic planning, service development and future commissioning decisions. The successful provider will be required to design and deliver a robust qualitative needs assessment and: - Design and carry out a qualitative needs assessment using interviews, focus groups and stakeholder engagement. - Engage people with lived experience of gambling harms, affected family members, community organisations, service providers and other key stakeholders. - Use an inclusive, trauma-informed and culturally competent approach, with appropriate safeguarding and data protection arrangements in place. - Analyse findings and develop practical, evidence-based recommendations for prevention, service improvement and future commissioning. - Produce a final report, executive summary, presentation slides and an accessible summary for service users. The contract term is 1.5 months.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 73. The category anchor is Research and development services and related consultancy services (73000000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
