Published requirement descriptionForest Management Operations:

Woody species include all tree species and shrubs such as Hemlock, Rhododendron and Gaultheria. Herbaceous species include all specified noxious weeds such as Japanese knotweed and shall include other species such as Gunnera, Balsam and Hypericum. Control of all Invasive vegetation will require a variety of techniques, including stem injection, cutting and spraying to ensure that the plants are controlled to an effective level.
There is no mulching or similar operation which require excavators or heavy plant machinery under these Contracts.
- Recurrence: Forest Management Operations - Four years, subject to extension through Regulation 72. Invasive Vegetation Control - Four or Five Years, subject to extension.
