Flexible Framework for Community Based Supports for Children

: Successful Providers will deliver Services which: - Provide flexible, person-centered support to Children, Young People aged up to and including 18 years old, and their families. - Enable Children and Young People to achieve their goals and outcomes as per their Child Assessment and Plan and Support Plan; and - Meet all requirements of the Service Specification. Providers will be required to deliver a range of flexible, personalized and outcome focused support, either in the family home or in the community. Providers will deliver outcome-based services and Person-Centred Support to Children and Young People up to and including 18 years across South Ayrshire. All types of support should be delivered in such a way that they are in line with individual Child/Young Person’s needs, choices, and preferences as per the Child/Young Persons Support Plan and are subject to appropriate risk assessment. Providers will encourage the Child/Young Person to express their views in relation to the support through a means of communication appropriate to them. This includes involving advocacy representatives where appropriate.
