Published requirement descriptionThe purpose of this ITT is for the provision of independent laboratory testing and demonstration for demand side response (DSR) systems, in settings indicative of the real world. The work seeks to test and demonstrate how DSR services can be delivered by three different technical frameworks:
Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 1878 and the principles of PAS 1879
PAS 1878 specifically using Annex D and the principles of PAS 1879
GB smart metering system in accordance with the Standalone Auxiliary Proportional Controller (SAPC) specification.
The requirements of this competition will be procured through 2 Lots.

Additional information: Bidders are able to apply for either or both lots. If applying for both lots, separate bids are required to be submitted for each lot. There will be an expectation that the suppliers for each lot will work closely together to ensure coordination between the laboratory and real-world demonstration phases.

Demonstration will be of multiple products and platform in combination to produce a meaningful change in demand for grid control purposes. Additional information: Bidders are able to apply for either or both lots. If applying for both lots, separate bids are required to be submitted for each lot. There will be an expectation that the suppliers for each lot will work closely together to ensure coordination between the laboratory and real-world demonstration phases.
