EXCALIBUR Academies Trust ~ Catering Tender

The successful Supplier will be required to provide Catering Services for EXCALIBUR Academies Trust at the following nine locations: 1.Ashton Park Secondary School, Blackmoors Ln, Bower Ashton, Bristol BS3 2JL 2.Redland Green Secondary School, Redland Ct Rd, Bristol BS6 7EH 3.Fairfield High School, Allfoxton Rd, Horfield, Bristol BS7 9NL 4.John O’Gaunt School, Priory Rd, Hungerford RG17 0AN 5.Ashton Vale Primary School, Avebury Rd, Bristol BS3 2QG 6.Compass Point Primary School, South St, Bedminster, Bristol BS3 3AU 7.Luckwell Primary School, Breach Rd, Bristol BS3 3ET 8.Lambourn Primary School, Edwards Hill, Lambourn, Hungerford RG17 7LJ 9.May Park Primary School, Coombe Road, Bristol, Avon, BS5 6LE Full details in relation to the above schools can be found on the EXCALIBUR Academies Trust website: https://www.excalibur.org.uk/ EXCALIBUR Academies Trust may grow further, with several additional schools becoming part of the Trust during this contract period. The provision of catering services at these schools if they have joined the Trust, or ended their current catering contract, may fall under the scope of this contract. The successful Supplier will be expected to provide this service at these additional schools using the same costing model applied to the successful tender submission. The duration of contract for these schools will not be increased and they will join the contract for the remaining contract period that exists at the point of entry into the contract. The following Schools shall engage with the successful contractor, post award, to consider joining the main EXCALIBUR Trust contract when their current catering arrangements end: 1.Burbage Primary School, Blackman's Ln, Burbage, Marlborough SN8 3TP 2.Great Bedwyn Primary School, Farm Ln, Great Bedwyn, Marlborough SN8 3TR 3.Oare Primary School, Oare, Marlborough SN8 4JL 4.Ogbourne Primary School, High St, Marlborough SN8 1SU Pupil roll numbers across all eight sites is currently circa 5586. Estimated annual turnover value based on the current Universal Free School meal allowance across all nine locations is circa £1,438K per annum including Universal Free School Meals, Free School Meals and Cash Sales. Current uptake levels vary across all sites and the Trust firmly believes that with appropriate choice and quality there is a real opportunity to increase levels of uptake. For the avoidance of doubt TUPE Regulations including pension rights will apply to this contract where applicable. The successful Supplier will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the Client on the consolidated contract performance. It is imperative that an open book policy is offered to ensure that each school has total clarity on financial performance. The Trust is seeking both innovation and the application of current food trends within the tender submissions and would expect, because of this, to be able to identify ‘Best Value’ and work in partnership with the chosen Supplier going forward.
