Lifts Maintenance, Refurbishment and Associated Installation Services

For clarity this lot is divided into 7 regional areas through England, Wales and NI. A maximum of 5 companies will be awarded to each region. Bidders may bid for one, multiple or all regions. If bidders are successful in being awarded to more than one region this will not increase the intended number to be awarded.

The tender evaluation process will score all tenders against the regions they wish to service. It is possible, depending on the level of interest and quality of tender submissions for each region that award to supply 1 of the regions does not guarantee award to supply to any other.

Should there be a significant break point in scoring of 5% or more, NEUPC reserves the right to proceed with a lower number of Bidders for all or any Lot(s).

Lot requirements include but are not limited to:

•Service to encompass and ensure compliance with LOLER Regulations

•Maintenance, service, alterations and inspection requirements for all passenger, goods, platform, and stair lifts as required.

•Specification for quoted works for repairs, upgrades, and new installation.

How this buyer will score bids.

The evaluation criteria and weights exactly as published on the notice, grouped by family (price, quality, social value and so on).

How bids were scored

Lots publish different evaluation splits; there is no single procedure weighting.

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 40–50 points depending on the lot. Read the split per lot below.
  • “EFM2035 NE Lifts Consultancy, Maintenance, Refurbishment and…” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
