        "description": "This procurement is all about identifying a single supplier to provide a fully outsourced managed service.  At the sole discretion of the Trust any future schools that the Trust may incorporate into the Trust will also be added to the ICT contract.  Any additional schools will co-terminate to the end same end date of the initial contract.\nFurther details regarding timescales are noted below but in summary this is advertised as a maximum 5 year service with start and end dates as follows: \n•\tService start date - 21st February 2022 (First Day of Spring Half Term)\n•\tService end date - 20th February 2027\nThe new Managed service provider will also deliver a range of technology and change management projects to go ahead as soon as possible to both stabilise, address historic under investment in ICT and move to a predominantly cloud/off-site environment. For the purposes of this shortlisting stage bidders should assume that the ITT will include, but not be limited to;\n•\tstrategic advice and direction to the Trust regarding ICT\n•\ta core 50 week service\n•\tservice desk \n•\tlocal staffing that bidders deem necessary to deliver the SLA\n•\tresponsibility for design, specification, installation and management of all ICT infrastructure\n•\tsupply of goods and services based on an agreed Best Value (BV) approach\n•\tmanagement of all ICT against an agreed SLA\n•\tmanagement of 3rd parties\n•\trelevant monitoring, management, patching and reporting\n•\ttraining - technical and curriculum as necessary\n•\texpectation that the provider will drive innovation\n•\trisk registers and inventory management\n•\tcollective partnership targets aligned to the Trusts objectives\n•\tprobable integration and upgrade of the communications and security infrastructure \nBidders should note the following;\n•\tThe Trust will provide a standard contract as part of the ITT Pack\n•\tThere will be a requirement for TUPE - only from the Trust\nFurther details about the solution requirements will be provided to those bidders who are shortlisted to receive the ITT pack.",
