BCP Council is conducting a Soft Market Assessment to gain an understanding of specialist organisations with relevant experience that can assist the Council with completion of an updated and extended Market Position Statement for Adult Social Care. The Market Position Statement will be a strategic document to enable the care sector to understand the current position and likely future commissioning direction in line with the financial climate of the council. It will detail Adult Social Cares commissioning intentions in respect to its Care Act duties and identified need. The Statement will cover the following sectors: 1. Long term conditions 2. Mental health 3. Learning disabilities 4. Autism Our Commissioning aim is for this project to commence June 2024 with up to 3 months for completion of the full Market Position Statement.
