Published requirement description

HealthTrust Europe is seeking to appoint Suppliers for the provision of Digital Pathology Solutions, including the provision of equipment, associated software and relevant services to any NHS Trust, hospital and any other healthcare facility in the healthcare economy.

Lot 1 - Digital Pathology equipment: including digital pathology scanners, workstations and any other associated equipment or software to support the digital pathology equipment provision only.

Lot 2 - Gross Imaging: including gross imaging equipment, workstations and any other associated equipment or software to support the gross imaging equipment provision only.

Lot 3 - Digital pathology software: Including image viewer and management systems and software, cellular pathology AI solutions, pathology image storage solutions to support the management of images created from Digital Pathology Scanners.

Lot 4 - Digital pathology end to end solutions: Including the scope of all Lots of this framework agreement.

Lot 5 - Microscopes and Microscope Cameras: Including microscope, microscope cameras, and anything else required for the solution to operate.

The Participating Authority of this Framework Agreement may include NHS Trusts, Hospitals, Community Hospitals and any other authorised healthcare facility.

Review procedure

HTE implemented a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract was communicated to tenderers. That notification provided full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which was for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provided time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.

Publisher note: HTE is acting on behalf of MSE, a central purchasing body. Notwithstanding HTE's relationship with MSE, it is HTE who is conducting this tender exercise and MSE will execute the resultant framework agreement with successful bidders. The bodies to whom the use of this framework agreement will be open include all contracting authorities in the UK as defined in Regulation 2 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as may be updated from time to time. In particular, the entities in the UK (particularly those of a health and/or social care nature) listed in the downloadable spreadsheet in the weblink below are envisaged as framework agreement users: https://www.ons.gov.uk/methodology/classificationsandstandards/economicstatisticsclassifications/introductiontoeconomicstatisticsclassifications This list includes each organisation's successors and assigns, any equivalent organisations and associated organisation created due to any organisational changes.
