Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 85. The category anchor is Health services (85100000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.

This service is being delivered in East and North Hertfordshire only.\nThe new proposed contract will start on 1st February 2024 and will expire on 31st March 2025. The value of this new contract is £108,579 (excl. VAT). Please note that these are expected values and may be amended post contract finalisation with the provider.\nThe contract was originally awarded via a competitive tender process and has been in place since 1st February 2019. The total cumulative value of the service to end January 2024 is £634,410.19 (excluding VAT and excluding the value of the proposed new contract).\nThis short-term contract will allow a full review of the current service provision across the wider Integrated Care Board area to inform the future commissioning of the structured education service.\nThis service includes the Provision of structured education for patients newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This offers a one-off four hour session offered to patients newly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. It offers support and understanding of their condition and effective ways to manage their own health, including exercise and healthy eating. This is offered as a virtual session or a face to face session. It is for small groups, so that the patients interact with the trainer and each other. It is designed to help patients to feel less alone and isolated at a challenging time. Additional information: In line with best practice, the Authority will observe a 10-day standstill period prior to concluding the proposed contract with Spirit Healthcare."
