Coverage: 451 active published awards; 397 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThis is a direct award of contract to the Local Government Association (LGA) and the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) for critical support for the adult social care (ASC) front line between 1/10/2022 and 31/3/2023.

We are working to open a competitive tender exercise to replace this contract, and need to maintain continuity of service given the nature of the requirement.

The market is currently constrained because there have been no opportunities to deliver this activity openly available. As this is the first time we have gone to competitive tender for the activity, we intend to conduct more market engagement activity to help warm up the market to this new opportunity and maximise the benefit of the competitive tender. |
