This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 24th May 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR

Quality and innovation Activity and performance data provided on time. Performance good (evidenced by latest submission) Score 4 Weighting 30 Total 120 Key Criterion 2. Value The contract value has been increased only by the Review Body on Doctors' and Dentists' Remuneration (DDRB) pay increase and taking out the management charge in 2024 to reflect that minimal resource is required for this. Income received for this service covers the cost of provision. No changes to the contract are envisaged. Score 4 Weighting 20 Total 80 Key Criterion 3 Integration, collaboration and service sustainability Providers works with Local Authorities to integrate oral health promotion services into the wider service provision. Provider works with local general dental practitioners to accept referrals, provide treatment and discharge back and maintain shared care arrangements as required. Provider works with other secondary health care systems to facilitate general anaesthetic treatments where required. Score 4 Weighting 15 Total 60 Key Criterion 4 Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice Providers works with Local Authorities to integrate oral health promotion services into the wider service provision. Provider works with local general dental practitioners to accept referrals, provide treatment and discharge back and maintain shared care arrangements as required. Provider works with other secondary health care systems to facilitate general anaesthetic treatments where required. Score 4 Weighting 25 Total 100 Key Criterion 5. Social value The Provider has a Green Action Plan 2022 - 2025 in place. This action plan for the Trust illustrates how sustainable development concepts and practices can help the meet the objective set by the NHS for zero carbon emissions by 2045. The plan brings together the various efforts around the Trust to create a cohesive approach to carbon reduction. Contextually the plan reflects current International and National Government objectives which align with the 2008 Climate Change Act and the "NHS Long Term Plan" and "Delivering a net zero NHS" Score 4 Weighting 10 Total 40 Total 400
