What is being bought
The Contract Works are to refurbish the Sage Building at Bury Training Centre including the construction of a new Kitchen and Dining facility, Incident Command Training Centre, Classrooms and Office Facility. This work involves the stripping out of some existing facilities, replacement roof, dining room extension, remodelling, finishes and full replacement of all building services systems.
The work is being funded by the GMCA from its own resources and budget approval has been received. The Contract Duration of the Works on site is expected to be 12 weeks, the Form of Contract will be the JCT Intermediate Form with Contractors Design 2016 Edition. The Contractors Design elements are the steel-to-steel connections and the piling to the drill tower bases.
