Delivering sustainability and carbon neutral targets through innovative technological solutions for NHS A&A, D&G, FV & Lanarkshire

Scope of the Project: The NHS Health Boards are interested in procuring fully funded renewable energy solutions through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), which may include the installation of various technologies on NHS Scotland sites via private wire or supplied from off-site installations via Corporate (sleeved) or virtual arrangements. Examples include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, and Car Park PV/EV chargers/BESS. The primary objectives are: - Reduce Energy Costs - Generate Income - Sustainability Goals & Net Zero Carbon Supplier Requirements: - A company with a minimum of five years of trading history, with evidence of financial and economic standing, capability and capacity to construct and deliver large scale projects . e.g. a renewable energy asset portfolio of 60MW to 240MW. - A proven track record and experience in delivering fully funded innovative technology projects. - Demonstrated ability to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions. - Capability to conduct comprehensive site assessments, manage projects, manage procurement and installations, and maintain ongoing maintenance programs. - A history of successful partnerships in similar projects with comparable organizations i.e. local councils, Scottish Water and other public bodies or large companies/businesses. - An understanding of public sector timelines and complexities. - Proven experience in understanding and supporting Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). The purpose of this PIN is to gauge market interest and capabilities in delivering fully funded services. It also serves to inform potential suppliers of our forthcoming plans and to invite expressions of interest.
