Early intervention and prevention Day Opportunities

These types of Day Opportunities are services which provide centres or hubs within local communities where people with support needs can go to meet others and receive welfare and wellbeing support. These Services will engage People in a range of appropriate activities delivered by the Service Provider or through additional agencies. Services may also provide welfare and wellbeing support which may consist of a range of interventions to reduce social isolation and maximise independence among those accessing the Service. Day Opportunities are predominantly focussed around cohorts of vulnerable people in local communities. For the purposes of this Lot Day Opportunities for individuals with a learning disability are excluded. It is anticipated that this Lot will be used for future demand for Day Opportunities that are unable to be met through other Lots of this Specification, e.g., people with acquired brain injury or mental health support needs or if need arises for a block contract call off and Providers will be invited to participate in a mini competition as detailed in Appendix 12b. The contract Term is 3 years with the option to extend by maximum 48 months in increments of 12 months. Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 85. The category anchor is Social work and related services (85300000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
