Coverage: 191 active published awards; 175 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe Community Autism Support and Advice (CASA) Service underwent a competitive
Invitation to Tender process on, 16 October
2023. The tender closed on Friday, 17 November 2023. There was initially a good level of
interest expressed, however bids that were subsequently submitted were not deemed
sufficient to meet Council requirements.
The extension to the current contract will be made using the legal route permitted under
Regulation 72 (1) (b) of Public Contracts Regulations 2015. There are specific provisions
which enable the Council to make in-term modifications to a contract, such as varying its
term, if changing the supplier is not feasible due to economic or technical reasons (e.g.,
requirements of interchangeability or interoperability with existing services) and if such a
change would cause significant inconvenience or substantial duplication of costs for the
Council. |
