Published justification: Additional deliveries are required from the original supplier as an interim arrangement until a procurement can be completed via the current Dynamic Purchasing System. A change of supplier would result in incompatibility as the purchase of supplies with different technical characteristics would require extensive ICT and infrastructure works which would result in incompatibility and disproportionate technical difficulty that would impact on patient care and service delivery.
