The service is being commissioned as a local enhanced service as defined by Part 4 paragraph 14(1)(e) of the Pharmaceutical Services (Advanced and Enhanced Services) (England) Directions 2013 (as amended). The objectives of this service are to: • Provide management of Acute Conditions in Community Pharmacy which require assessment, self-care and/or a prescribing intervention to walk-in patients and those referred by their local GP, UEC or 111. • Build on the existing Pharmacy First Minor Illness, local PGDs and Pharmacy First service where patients are excluded or OTC licensing restricts provision of medication negating the need for escalation/referral back to their GP. This is a 12-month contract from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027 The total value of the contract awarded: £49,355. Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 85. The category anchor is Health services (85100000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
