- Change The Secretary of State for Defence has agreed a modification to the existing Command and Staff Academic Provider (CSAP) Contract with King's College London. The modification extends the contract term to maintain continuity of academic support and delivery of education services to the Defence Academy. The contract prior to the modification provided academic support and education services to the Defence Academy through the Command and Staff Academic Provision (CSAP) Contract. After the modification, the contract still provides for academic support and education services to the Defence Academy on substantially the same basis, with no material change to the nature, scope, or overall purpose of the services. Grounds for modification: This modification has been made in accordance with Regulation 72, 1 (c) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Implementation Date: 01 February 2029., Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: The modification has been brought about by changes to Defence training and education requirements arising from Strategic Defence Review and Defence Reform activity which the re-procurement needs to reflect and which the Authority could not have reasonably foreseen.
