Coverage: 2 active published awards; 2 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale
Planning budgetNot published |
No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe original DACs STA6283 & STA6672 covered the period to March 2019. STA7970 extended the contract for a further two years to March 2021.It was planned that a new IM solution would be in place for the Lifeline service by March 2021 however this has been delayed. A business case has been developed and is currently being reviewed. In the interim there are urgent operational and security issues that need to be addressed and it is therefore necessary to update the system as well as secure support arrangements for the existing IMS for a further two year period until the new IM solution is implemented. |
