The estimated maximum value of the procurement is £1,900,000 excluding VAT over the full potential seven-year term, inclusive of the optional two-year extension period.
The detailed functional, technical, implementation and service requirements are set out in the procurement documents.
- The authority expects to re-tender this requirement around 1 Jan 2033, 23:59 GMT.
- How the procedure runs: Chiltern Rail will conduct this procurement using the Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023. The procedure will comprise the following stages: 1. Invitation to Participate (ITP): Bidders will submit responses to the Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ). Chiltern Rail will assess exclusion grounds, Conditions of Participation and the scored selection criteria set out in the ITP documents. Subject to satisfying all applicable pass/fail requirements and minimum thresholds, up to the five highest scoring Bidders will be invited to progress to the Invitation to Submit Initial Tenders stage. 2. Invitation to Submit Initial Tenders: Shortlisted Bidders will be invited to submit Initial Tenders. Initial Tenders will be evaluated in accordance with the published award criteria and assessment methodology, including Technical, Commercial and Social Value elements. 3. Demonstration Stage: Bidders will be required to demonstrate relevant aspects of their proposed solution. Demonstration and Social Value scores awarded during the Initial Tender stage will be carried forward unchanged. The Final Tender achieving the highest overall score will be identified as the Most Advantageous Tender, subject to completion of the applicable governance, exclusion, assessment summary, Contract Award Notice and standstill requirements. Suppliers that are excluded or do not progress following an earlier stage will not be permitted to re enter the procurement at a later stage.

About this data
- Source. Official UK public procurement notices (Find a Tender), reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. New notices arrive through the day; the figures are rebuilt nightly. Contracts Finder contracts appear on the Retender Radar, not yet in these figures.
- Two views, kept apart. The authority’s own track record and the wider market for the same kind of work sit side by side and are never mixed. Where the local picture is too thin, a figure widens to a broader market and says which one it used.
- Forecasts are labelled. The price forecast and its range, possible competitors and the earlier-work matches are our estimates from past awards: not published facts, not win chances and not price advice. Official notices do not say who is bidding.
- Every figure shows what it rests on. Not every notice publishes a bid count, a value or a delivery region, so each figure carries the number of records behind it, and one built on few records is marked as such. The on a figure explains it; the counting rules are in the methodology. Spotted something wrong? Tell us.
