Why no open competition: Single Suppliers Technical Reasons
Published justification: Maintenance of Illumina sequencers is essential to ensure continued operation to required standard, necessary for delivery of Cefas work. Maintenance and replacemment of parts need to be carried out by Illumina Engineers in order to maintain validity of warranty.
