Why no open competition: New works/services, constituting a repetition of existing works/services and ordered in accordance with the strict conditions stated in the directive
Published justification: The current contract is expirying and this is for a new contract under PSR with the same specification and same spend as the previous contract. We are required to set up a new contract under the Provider Selection Regime. So, for clarity, this is a new contract that needs to be put in place under PSR for an existing provider and the original contract is shortly due to expire.
