Coverage: 6 active published awards; 4 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Cancer Patient Pathway System (CaPPS) provides the Health & Social Care Trusts in NI with an IT system that enables all patients referred with a suspect cancer to be tracked through a time clinical pathway. CaPPS provides support to the Cancer Services across the HSC to meet the targets set out by Government on which the service is monitored.
CaPPS is also used for the management of Multidisciplinary team Meetings (MDTs). MDMs and effective decision making improve the quality of clinical intervention and care for people with cancer.
The CaPPS application is vital to enable the provision of cancer care across the HSC. The CaPPS system has become the only source of information and the only solution used in the management of MDTs.
