Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The NHSE South West Region would like to implement a single solution that provides a unified reporting streaming experience for their Pathology and Radiology in the first instance and then developing out to further 'ologies as the clinical networks develop. The solution should allow for image data to be transferred and accessed in a bi-directional manner to support shared care of patients without compromising on speed of access and image fidelity on a near real-time basis. The deliverables include but are not limited to modification, (during and post implementation), installation, integration, implementation and relevant on-going support of a capital funded asset (ICT system) which will support improved service. The platform should be accessible across the group of hospitals and from remote locations without the need for complex, expensive end-user hardware to allow for flexibility, and ease of use while maintaining a consistent in-hospital experience from all locations. For the following South West Trusts (each Trust will have an individual contract): Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust North Bristol NHS Trust Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Dorset University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Please Note: Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Dorset University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust may award a contract in the future under this procurement if required and which will subject to receiving Capital funding. The core term is 8 years (March 2023 to 31st March 2031), with potential further extension option 2 x 1 year periods. The Authorities has a maximum Capital budget available of £8,274,000 which is inclusive of VAT. This is the total maximum Capital budget for the first 5 years of the 8-year term and will be paid in 3 instalments aligned to the milestone (asset) payment plan. For years 6, 7 & 8 a nominal revenue funded costs for ongoing maintenance and support only is to be provided by the Bidder. At the end of the initial contract term the Authorities will have an optional extension period for 2 x 1 years which will be awarded at their discretion. Each Contracting Authority will be in control of the software licenses (and associated hardware) as their own Asset.
