- Change This modification extends the maximum term of the contract by 15 months. The maximum estimated value of the contract is increased to £8,360,000. A previous modification in 2024 increased the maximum estimated value to £6,860,000 under Regulation 88(1)(e), there was no requirement to publish a notice. — Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: NI Water, having prepared its business case and reviewed the spend under the existing contract, could not have foreseen that the re-procurement would result in bids being returned significantly in excess of the costs that were envisaged and received internal approvals. This modification will provide the time required for NI Water to review its requirements, re-engage with the market and conduct a further procurement exercise with the aim of awarding an affordable contract.
