Lot 1
No lot description published.
This workshop forms a critical part of the Bus Franchising Implementation Pathways Review work being chaired by Leon Daniels OBE with consultancy support from Steer. The session, chaired by Leon Daniels OBE, is intended to provide an opportunity for bus operators and community transport providers to input their knowledge and views to the review work, providing information on experience in the local area and its challenges, information on operating in different contracting environments and best practice elsewhere. This will help inform the independent review work undertaken to recommend how the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority franchising scheme proceeds.

| 1 | Transport services (excl. Waste transport), Transport equipment and auxiliary products to transportation | Not published |
Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 34. The category anchor is Transport equipment and auxiliary products to transportation (34000000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.
| Comparison set | Procedures | Reported bids per procedure | Named award suppliers | Price evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Market: CPV division 34 | 3,227 | 3 median · 23.2 average (1,232 of 3,227 with a bid count) | 3.5 average (1,367 of 3,227 with named award suppliers) | Not published |
| Same buyer | 3 | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Delivery region: UKH12 | 22 | 5 median · 15.5 average (8 of 22 with a bid count) | 2.4 average (8 of 22 with named award suppliers) | Not published |
“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.
Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
