Coverage: 175 active published awards; 175 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The BBC has a long history of performance groups, today the BBC retains a number of performance groups, across the UK, including 5 Orchestras (Symphony, Concert,Philharmonic, Scottish Symphony & National Orchestra of Wales) and a Choral Ensemble (BBC Singers). The groups work on a number of projects (made up of events and resources) throughout the calendar year both internally e.g. Recordings for Radio Stations and externally e.g. International Tours.
All performance groups require the use of a software system to create and manage their projects. The groups currently use a client based system and the project aims to replace or upgrade the existing system to enable flexible remote working and to address a number of issues with the current product.
