What is being bought
UKHSA is hoping to refresh and modernise its Bacteriology Laboratory Automation Systems in some or all of its Clinical Network Laboratories. Current systems have been in-situ for approximately ten years and are nearing end of life. In advance of seeking business case approval or launching a formal tender process UKHSA are seeking to engage with the with the Laboratory Automation supply chain to:
- share information regarding this potential opportunity
- gain technical insights into innovative and leading-edge solutions that can support the development of our requirements
- gain market insight to help us shape our business case and strategy for a potential procurement
This RFI (Request for Information) is the first stage of our pre-market engagement and is a desk-top exercise that is intended to enable key business stakeholders and their commercial lead to engage to better understand what the market can provide and the market’s thoughts are on the future.
