What is being bought
Highway verge and tree management is a key part of the Council’s duty to maintain safe highways. Westmorland and Furness Council requires up to a maximum of six Suppliers for the provision of services for tree maintenance, felling, storm damage and works identified from the ash die back surveys. Through the Framework the Council is seeking to have a clear impact on the Cumbrian economy through job creation, training and development opportunities and development of the local supply chain.
