Coverage: 31 active published awards; 29 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Business adoption of AI technology has the potential to substantially boost productivity in the UK in the coming years. However, there is currently no clear consensus on what the level of current and future UK business adoption is or will be. In order to inform policy decisions, a deeper understanding of adoption by type of AI technology, the depth of utilisation and its impact, and to what extent barriers are experienced by businesses that could benefit from the technology. Therefore, this contract will pay for a one-off business survey and follow up interviews. The survey should uncover current AI adoption levels, future adoption plans, barriers and enablers to adopting, as well as understanding the impacts of AI.
