Published requirement descriptionThis is a Corrigendum notice for the Adoption and Special Guardian Support Fund to extend the current contract.
The Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF) has been delivered by Mott Macdonald since April 2022 to enable payment to Local Authorities for therapy services. The original ITT (itt_844 - Adoption Support Fund) for this contract set out the full service.
This contract has been extended between April 2024 - March 2026 as set out in the initial procurement. To ensure continuity in the approval and payment of therapy applications, we are now extending this contract for a further 3 months while a procurement exercise is being finalised in line with Regulation 72(1)(b) guidance. The procurement exercise will be launched imminently from the Crown Commercial Service Fund Administration and Disbursement Services DPS RM6322. Market Engagement has been completed on this service (www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/056398-2025 ↗), and interested parties can apply onto the DPS if not already members to gain access to the competition.
The value of this extension is £787,907.56. This brings the total value of this contract, plus previous extensions and variations, to £12,410,925.89.

The summary of the variation is: To fund £42,000 to vary the contract FY23-24 to allow for additional work outlined in this annex. Contract varied to allow for more applications to be made in 22/23 and for additional funding to the IT infrastructure of the fund.
To increase funding by £164,457.25 for national implementation of Outcome Measured Tools (OMT) for ASF Applications following successful Pilot.
Service to extend the contract to continue to provide the services, as per the Contract specification for a further period of 6 months, from 02 January 2024 to 1 July 2024. For the duration of this extension, the focus will be on sustaining the mentoring groups which have already been created rather than continuing to form new groups.
This is a variation to increase the number of therapy applications which can be processed during F/Y 24/25 from 15,000 to 22,308. The cost to process the additional 7,308 applications is £719,911.08 (ex VAT)
