Coverage: 249 active published awards; 99 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Demolition, Disablement and Access (DDA) Programme within the Specialist EOD, Exploitation & Countermeasures (SEEC) Delivery Team (DT) have launched two projects to procure commercial off the shelf (COTS) method of entry (MoE) support equipment and specialist climbing equipment. The MoE equipment requirement consists of a large variety of hand tools, ancillaries and materials, roughly 125 items. The climbing equipment consists of variety of consumable climbing equipment and specialist access equipment, roughly 300 items. It is the intent to invite participation from suppliers who are commercially compliant and can meet the requirement of being able to support and supply all equipment types. It is the DT intention to find one Prime supplier to support the ongoing procurement of both equipment lists, with the procurement contract lasting 10 years for the MoE equipment and 5 years for the climbing equipment. For more information please refer to the advert and Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (DPQQ) associated with this opportunity which will be released in the coming weeks. The existing Defence Contracts Online (DCO) platform is being phased out during 2021 and replaced with Defence Sourcing Portal (DSP). Therefore, the Authority will be conducting all applicable advertising and potential procurement exercises via the DSP. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register on the new platform at contracts.mod.uk to ensure access to the most up to date information. DE&S is committed to considering Social Value in the award of any contract. More information about Social Value can be found here. In issuing this PIN, DE&S is not committing to carry out any procurement in relation to the requirements stated in this PIN.
